Lead the Change is a central hub of opportunities – Boards / Commissions, Advisory Councils / Committees, Young Leaders Boards / Associate Boards, Fellowships / Service Year programs, Awards / Recognition programs, and other opportunities with a significant leadership component – where diverse young leaders can easily explore and access these opportunities and organizations hosting opportunities can connect with a diverse pool of candidates. Lead the Change is a multi-partner collaboration between a number of organizations invested in the long-term health of the Pittsburgh region.

Our Mission

Lead the Change’s mission is to empower young people to be leaders in the community and direct change and to ensure that decision-making and leadership tables throughout the region are inclusive and representative of diverse young Pittsburgh.

Our Vision

We envision a region where diverse young leaders are consistently present, valued, and supported at community and organizational decision-making tables; where organizations expressly value and embrace the leadership and contributions of young Pittsburghers; and where diverse young leaders have opportunities that empower them to “lead the change” for the benefit of all of our communities.
